The culmination of our efforts resulted in the innovative Tallon receiver design, featuring a patented connecting system. This breakthrough design offers:

The Early Stages

Unexpectedly, Tallon made a significant splash at the International Boat Builders Exhibition in Miami, Florida, clinching a prestigious innovation award. This success was followed by another triumph at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, USA, where they were honored with the Most Innovative Chevrolet Accessory award. The logical progression was to secure worldwide patents and design registrations for the Tallon Socket.

Stepping into Maturity

In the ensuing years, Tallon dedicated themselves to crafting an array of marine accessories, all seamlessly interchangeable through the innovative Tallon Socket. Addressing commonplace concerns such as managing drinks and keys, Peter and the team found solutions that resonated with boaters worldwide. Finally, a mounting system that was flush, optimizing space; versatile, allowing users to mount, switch, or stow frequently used accessories; and exceptionally sturdy—tested to endure an astonishing 600kg in straight pull out tests for the Classic Socket!

Maturing to Full Potential

A few years back, the Tallon Team achieved another significant milestone by introducing their Mini Socket range—compact versions of the Classic socket, easily fitting into vehicle switch blanks and knock-outs. Despite their smaller size, Mini Sockets boast the same robustness as the surface or coating they are placed in.
